어와나 (AWANA)
어와나(Awana) 는 “부끄러울 것이 없는 인정된 일꾼” (Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed) 이라는 뜻으로 디모데후서 2장 15절의 말씀을 영어성경 (King James Version)의 첫 글자를 따서 만든 이름입니다. 어와나는 어린이들을 그리스도의 복음으로 이끌고 그리스도를 섬기도록 훈련하는 국제적이고 초교파적인 사역입니다.

어와나의 활동 시간은 세가지 영역으로 나눠집니다.

어와나는 어린이들에게 성경 구절을 암송하도록 격려하고 하나님 말씀을 통해 예수님에 대해 그리고 기독교인으로 살아가는 법에 대해 가르칩니다.
어와나에는 본 교회의 클럽이 후원하거나 다른 교회들과 함께 하는 친선 경기 등의 행사가 연중 열립니다.

Awana is the name and mission of an international, nondenominational ministry to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
Club time is divided into three general sections:

Game Time

Handbook Time
-
Lesson Time
Children are encouraged to memorize scripture and taught about Jesus from God’s Word and how to live a Christian life.
There are other events through the year that our club either sponsors or partners together with other churches in friendly competition.

2세부터 4세의 취학 전 아동들에게 하나님과 하나님의 아들, 그리고 하나님의 말씀을 경외하도록 도움으로써 그들의 영적인 잠재력을 펼쳐 나갑니다. Puggles and Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers (2-and 4-year olds) by helping them develop respect for God, His Son and His Word
유치원부터 초등학교 2학년 까지를 대상으로, 그리스도를 알기 위한 지혜의 기초를 닦고 성서의 인물과 사건들에 대해 배우도록 어린이들의 호기심에 불을 붙입니다. Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids from Kindergarten to 2th grade to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.
인생의 중요한 단계에 있는 3학년에서 6학년 학생들을 하나님과 성경에 관한 질문과 답을 통하여 그리스도의 은혜 안에서 자랄 수 있게 안내합니다. T&T engages third-through sixth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ’s grace.
중학교 7학년, 8학년 학생들에게 그리스도안에서 자신들의 소명을 생각하고 하나님 말씀을 삶에 실천하도록 도전 정신을 심어줍니다. Trek challenges middle-school 7th and 8th grade students to consider their destiny in Christ and pursue it through life application of God’s Word.
고등학생 프로그램인 Journey는 9학년에 시작하며, 특징으로는 활동적인 태도, 성경에 기초한 학습 내용, 실천하는 삶, 정확한 성경 암송을 들 수 있습니다. Our highschool program, Journey, starts at 9th grade and features an energetic look, biblically based content, life application and an emphasis on Scripture memory.
